Expanding Semiconductor Industry Around the Globe is Accelerating the Growth of the Ultra-pure Sulphuric Acid Market

 

The ultra-pure sulphuric acid industry is highly promoted today as the most demanded chemical compound that can be used for numerous applications both at the industrial and household level. Ultra- purity sulfuric acid is usually traded in a high concentration of 95% at most to 98% by several chemicals company distributors and manufacturers. The Asia Pacific is projected to gain significant growth over the forecast period and this is attributed to the high demand for semiconductors in the region. China is making a significant contribution to the market due to the increasing focus of key manufacturers to expand the production capacity of the product in order to cater to the growing demand. For instance, in May 2018, BASF started operations at a new electronic-grade sulfuric acid (H2SO4) plant in Jiaxing, China, to serve the country’s growing semiconductor manufacturing industry.
